It looks like this site, but I'm not super familiar with Dallas developments. Trying to catch myself up!

I haven't seen much press on it, but it seems Air India wants to launch a Delhi-Dallas route sometime this year.

Those apartments do have decent density I'm sure, what has really always bothered me is the way they address Houston St, a fence with a parking lot behind. Bleck.
Insane to see how dense the area has gotten. Nothing but exciting. And that rooftop view down Lamar is a stunner.

Foster is probably my favorite architect ever, this is immensely exciting that this could happen. It does'nt seem like one of his stronger skyscraper designs, but I love it from those 2 renders.

That does seem like a nice compliment to FP. The crown is interesting, lots of steel and glass, could be beautiful if well lit.

Re: Downtown Dallas Residential Count
The comments about Fort Worth are amusing... I can attest that OKC and Ft. Worth in particular seem to think it is unique for having downtown revitalization, and many people in Ft. Worth (who clearly don’t make it past Tarrant County often) think it differentiates them from Dallas, which now has 15...

The parking lots are atrocious, but if there's 500 foot buildings replacing them, it'll be worth the wait.

Re: What is a suburb today?
I'll bet he think's he's a real great comedian. To answer the question - I'd consider any city which has an established urban core to be excluded from the suburb definition. I'm sure others opinions will vary on this. To me, Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton are the only places I've spent much time that...

I think that lot should host something of a much higher standard than a copy paste bit of architecture.

There is quite a large open area at the north east corner of the tower portion, the renderings show this area covered in glass. Is this just an atrium?

Most exciting potential development in DFW. San Francisco and Philadelphia are currently working on joining the 1,000 foot club, Seattle and Miami have 1,000 footers proposed and LA, NYC and Chicago are working on adding to theirs. Would love to see Dallas join the list.

Re: Victory Park 3.0
Victory Park is the place I most often go in Dallas since I go to a lot of Stars games. Outside of the plaza itself, which barely has anything of interest, nothing in the area "helps" the arena. There's no sports bars, slim pickings on restaurants, etc. It feels like the arena was the last...
