Re: Trinity River Park
Philanthropy is a wonderful thing! I'm now remembering some nice, believable rumor-type mentions that the Crow Children intend to honor the Family Matriarch with a Dallas Trinity River Park amenity. Underwriting the third Calatrava Bridge (to complete the set) would certainly have a nice ring, all t...

So glad Corrigan Tower will stay. As much as I would like better views of Tower Petroleum, Corrigan is a great corner building, prime example of the architecture and "urban fabric" building patterns prominent during the time. Makes me wonder what will eventually happen to the very popular ...

The Fair itself is a fantastic event, it's the managers and stewards of SFOT, Inc that contributes to the withered use of the Park. The lack of 'Park Authority,' sovereign programming and scheduling entity may be the biggest problem. Every season should have a major, annual event; the absence of a V...

Texas Stadium site, for example, I kinda think this real estate (and LRT Station) could wait a while, turn into something truly spectacular, if it's offline for some years while Lake Caroline turns into a really great downtown amenity.....

How does a seamless connection to the train to Houston fit into all of this?
