What is the real issue and what could be done to have our rail system run when it is most needed during winter storms. Apparently Dallas still has winter so long term what can be done this makes us look bad as a metro.

If light rail was all underground in the urban part of Dallas it would move faster like other systems. What slows it down are all of the street crossings. Maple Ave. is turning into quite the street with the planned towers from McKinney all the way down to the Crow development past Oak Lawn. I hope they all get built.

I don't understand this part of Uptown in between West Village and Hall. It creates a gap of energy that should be filled with high rises and people everywhere. Eventually if it is not built out it will be a hole compared to rest of area.

It takes a skilled and seasoned developer and marketing team to convert an apartment building to a condo building. I don't think this team has their act together.

There is an easy fix go vote them out. Somehow we have moved past actual voter turnout and into the backchannel games of culture wars and politics. If all the registered democrats in all of the large urban cities in Texas voted they would not even be in office. Voter turnout is our real dilemma.

Actually glad to see Adler move there. That style probably a better fit than next to Park Cities at Knox mix. West Village could use more interesting retail stores to create a reason to walk around and peruse. Probably got a good deal on the lease there also.

I drove by this today and it is fenced off with a proposed zoning sign up. It sits just behind the Quadrangle project at 2731 Cole Ave. Don't know what they are planning.
