Hey, I drove by this morning and noticed all the bushes and landscaping along McKinney had been removed. When did that happen? The fence and brickwork walls were still there along the sidewalks, but all the bushes were cut off at the base and gone.

Notice the residential towers look more interesting architecturally, but the office tower is just the basic box. Office tenants in this market just don't seem to be interested in showy groundbreaking architecture, while residential sometimes gets more unique treatment to appeal to certain renters.

Thank you for the rough numbers. Just want some context on this thread too. It's good to see outdated office space go cause the only way Downtown will succeed in the office market is brand new space. No one wants to be in a 1980s tower. Most tenants are looking for new blue glass and steel boxes.
