There's likely another internal entrance/exit after that drive. It looks possibly open-air partially factoring rendering lighting or just straight up covered. So maybe that's where cart users would go to and fro to their vehicles. And, the pedestrians perhaps will use the streetside entrance.

And, Tam - do they already have a Commissary here? I have no idea, but, that would certainly be something look out for in the future - in an industrial biz section of local media if all these plans start to come to fruition re: Central Market.

There's another rendering in the article posted above showing an entrance right next to a garage entrance/exit. I can't imagine why the prominent intersection corner has that door and stairway other than a fire exit. . . That'll need some aesthetic attention at a minimum. It's humorous that there is...

Today I noticed some of the rally/protesters kicked out potential looters at the 7-Eleven (which is boarded-up) under Doug's Gym.

Also, now this evening, much if not all of 1401 Elm's barricades have been re-arranged for a possible base camp across Elm St. Or some such use. . .

It's everywhere in downtown along EMC corridor. Downtown is a mess. Dumpster fires, blown out/still steaming cars, glass piles every block, moveable furniture all over, etcetera. Just lovely.

I can attest Metra UP North line was pretty solid though. At least in my own observations between Waukegan and northside - Rogers Park. Great Lakes station was actually a nice sight to see daily.

Maybe they'll spell the Convention Center Station correctly on the next map update at stations on the backside of ticket machines. Hopefully they don't write Hidden Valley Ranch station, though. . .
