They could double deck the lanes. One on top the others. I'd be okay if they just removed all the on/off ramps. That's the biggest impediment imo.

Can confirm Garland and Mesquite and Parts South of the Irving Convention Center in Irving are in rough shape. Arlington is ugly everywhere. I think Plano and Richardson have done a better job in staying relevant and more liveable when compared to other inner ring Suburbs. Im not familiar with Carro...

One area I wish we DART thought about more is a circle around Dallas county and more service to Mesquite areas. Purple Line anyone? ... "Trenching" 345 doesn't free up real estate though. I doubt anything but 1 story buildings would be allowed above a cut and cover "trench" rather do Riverfront and 35 than i345

Well, that just means the Central Market development can include that land in their following phase. Could be part of the slowdown. If the land was suddenly available they might have sent the project back to be redesigned to take the land into account particularly if previous versions had this land...

I am fine with them building the tower but why are they just adding gaudier tower for what appears to be no reason? Like even its location on the site seems kinda thrown in like some sort of Sim City throw-in. Did they get a new Dallas Money expansion pack? +10 for Sim City Reference But seriously....
