DFW has financial services jobs. But they're not the client facing roles or IB jobs. Most are back end supporting roles.
They probably will never be leaders in this area, so much of that is concentrated in the East Coast.

My biggest problem with Blewett and all the other hypocrites on the council is they have no problem saying yes to mid rise buildings as long as it's not in their district. Can't have it both ways
If it's allowed in the existing zoning.

A lawn is definitely needed for running children, picnics, outdoor displays and more starchitecture. There's only one museum that I've seen where a lawn was cool, that being the lawn near the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. I think the lot that Perot owns is the lot in front of the Perot Museum. It's the open parking lot in front of the museum.

Those 500 people could turn into 3000 people if they would build this out to the dense levels of height that this parcel could support today. It's not people. It's units. When's the last time someone proposed a 500 unit development in the core? That's a lot of apartments. I doubt they'll bring back...

At 580 Ft. That's the same height as Ross Tower. So roughly 45 stories.

Probably will be 35 stories of office. 10 for parking.

If Dallas' sells the Pink Affordable Housing nearby, we could see more buildings of this size around that area.

Does anyone on here actually shop at these grocery stores in this area? Because from personal experience I find that if you don't make it into the store by around 5-6pm on a week day to any of the central Dallas Kroger or Tom-Thumbs, the produce and meats are pretty depleted along with lower stock ...

It appears to be 3 towers. There's the 30 story hotel, 30 story office, and a smaller office tower. Take a look at slideshow with color coded towers. There's 2 office buildings.
