Hmmm, interesting. I knew that Front Burner had bought the lot next door as well, but the original site plan showed Sixty Vines. I think either would be a good fit to be honest!

It looks like the Blue Star Property at 114 and 161 passed P&Z on Monday. I drove by the site and noticed a new sign had been put up for a company called Stantec. It's a fairly large Global Architecture firm. Hopefully this means we'll see something about this project sooner rather than later.

It is surprising that they would jack the rent up, especially considering the number of concepts that have failed in this spot. Mesero seemed like the first since the days of Cuba Libre to make a bit of headway. It was my go-to date spot too!

Big Beat Dallas has been leased by a group out of Fort Worth... The owners of Reservoir and Whisky Garden are taking over. I'm not sure about this. I've been to Reservoir a few times and it was quite the "S" show. Nothing special at all, although I will say it is very popular in Fort Worth...

Lodgic Hospitality has finally pulled permits for their new 12 Story Element Hotel... This is where the old Sfuzzi, Table & Tavern, Republic, yada yada yada use to be. From what I remember of the rendering I glanced at it should be a nice addition!

All I know is that when I make the turn from 35 onto Woodall Rogers FWY I take a glance and think, "Yep, that tower is a pretty bad ass addition to the skyline". That's about the extent of my thinking with regards to Museum Tower.
