i am not sure i agree with that. The local / regional developers have been ignoring the South and building North for decades. But now the DFW area is being looked at by national and even international investors who do not share that opinion.They see vast areas of undeveloped land 30 minutes or less...

If Dallas were somehow able to adequately develop south Dallas those numbers would likely turn.

I saw something yesterday about Austin being the best and only well positioned large city in Texas on the road to a quick recovery. It was a national story, not sure who ran it thought.

One would think they if they really wanted to save some cash they would just figure out which positions they could send to work at home. That would seem to save a lot more than moving people to Dallas.

A 45 story office tower with a parking garage next door. That's actually kind of a pain to have to drive up, go down, cross the street and go back up again. You'd think they could have at least buried some of it.

Looks almost complete, maybe it will be done by the time everyone goes back.

Apparently during this crisis there has been an uptick in relocation inquiries coming into the metro so that continues to march forward despite the virus fears.

Why would 1401 even want to use 1505 as an event space? They have 1 million sf to play with at 1401?

Is that how long ago they opened 1505 up for residential use? I remember that conversion but didn't realize that was 20 years ago.

Driven by it a few times and I like the way it looks, sort of a 3D AT&T logo sitting out on the plaza. I haven't seen it up close yet so can't make that call. It certainly is not the Bean and am not sure that's a valid comparison.
