Re: TexRail

I'd love to see the red line go to Cedar Hill. I know someone in their govt. and they still plan on having a dart stop there one day. I'd also like to see the blue line go to Rockwall. The green line should go to Balch Springs. Pipe Dream to see the red line go north to McKinney and a line from Carr...

All I want is a 1000' + tower. Is that so much to ask?

I thought the sign saying future Lululemon location was pretty funny

They've literally built or re-built entire highways since this started.

Re: Downtown Dallas - 601 N Akard - YMCA

I'd love for a super tall at this location. Right smack dab in the middle of downtown. It would look great at this location surrounded by all the other tall buildings. Maybe I've spent too much time in LA.

Re: Deep Ellum: Epic ~ Knights of Pythias Temple

I hope this will spur growth among the sea of surface lots in the east part of Downtown. I feel like this area has great potential for some condo towers like in uptown. Just a dream though...

Re: Henderson Avenue Corridor

It might be just the thing the neighborhood has been missing. Everything there is so buttoned-up and scripted and planogrammed that a disorganized, thrown-together Double-D pretentious playground is prefect, and the views are apparently all that. This side of Knox-Henderson needs some shaking up fr...

Re: Henderson Avenue Corridor

Walked by a few times this weekend and just find everything about it obnoxious. Still have hope for the pub concept downstairs, but feel like that market point is already well served by the Old Monk and Skellig on this strip. Don't see this place lasting at all. It will have a nice flurry of people...

I can't wait for this place to open! It's nice to have a soccer bar. I've spoken to owners and I think place will do fine.

Re: Downtown Dallas: 508 Young Street (old Dallas Morning News building)

I wish the parking lot across the street where he street car stops had some sort of residential. I sometimes dream of buying Union Station (anyone got any money? haha)and turning it into a food hall and small shops. It can be a place to grab a bite before getting on DART to the AAC, State Fair, Airp...

Re: Oak Cliff: Bishop Arts

Drove by the future Central Market location yesterday. The sign on the gate is gone and there is a for sale sign up. I really hope they are still going to put a central market in. We need a decent grocery store in the neighborhood. Everyone who lives here all agree so more grab and go places and gro...

Re: Uptown Dallas: McKinney/Boll Tower - 2614 McKinney Ave - (18 ST)

Ground level looks great. Definitely an improvement over the buildings currently there. I wish the other tower hadn’t fallen through where One Sette is located. Yeah, that is a bummer. I really liked the look of that tower and its impact on McKinney Ave. There will be atower there soon. I know the ...

Re: I-345

635 Will take 4 to 5 years to complete. I do know also they will be closing the HOV lanes & reducing the # of lanes to 4 each way from 5 between Greenville Ave. & Galloway Ave. during construction. All I can say is thank goodness they decided not to build a depressed section for the HOV lanes.
