DCAD says it's owned by the same LP that owns the CVS next door, which tells me they're not interested in building anything remotely urban here. However, it does seem like a small lot for Racetrac since they're known for their massive line of pumps and bigger-than-average beverage cases.

Prefab garage construction on the "West Commerce Gateway" at W Commerce and Beckley. The interesting thing is that all three active sites in this immediate area (W Commerce @ Pittman, W Commerce @ Beckley and Beckley @ Oregon) are at about this same stage in the process.

The exterior work on Bryan Tower is now finished, and it's a huge improvement on what it looked like before. Really wish this was facing Pacific Plaza instead of being a block away, but I suppose there's also something desirable about having MATA on one side and DART on the other.

This makes a lot more sense than the DMN version. Why would they buy such a large tract and just build 750,000sf of office plus apartments?
