Pray pray pray they take ground-floor retail seriously in this building. The canyons of parking garages in between KWP and Uptown are one of the biggest wasted opportunities in the whole city.

Major fail. Everything far too inward-facing, not nearly enough street interaction. Hard/impossible to imagine those inward plazas ever reach critical retail/restaurant mass to generate any serious traffic outside of weekday lunches, and, see The Exchange downtown, is even that even feasible nowaday...

Interesting add right across the street from Uchi/Uchiba.

80 stories in this location would be wild. This site would seem to be even more disconnected from the rest of the skyline than BOA is from certain angles. Coming in on I-35, for example, or say from Trinity Groves, this would absolutely dwarf everything else.

This building topped out late spring, early summer 2020. There’s been hardly any movement at all in at least a full year.
