The Hunts should do DFW a solid and sell FC Dallas. We all know they will always prioritize the Chiefs over them. Sell them to someone who will prioritize this team and is actually passionate about winning in MLS.

Personally, I don't see the Hunts moving forward on this development, HSR or not. The Convention Center will have to show that Dallas is still a destination city for conventions. Las Vegas is the #1 market by far for these kinds of gatherings. Dallas just doesn't have that kind of drawing power tha...

Re: Reunion (Tower, hotel, and??)
Surprising that Hunt would oppose this, because it seems they would be the biggest benefactor. The people mover walkway under the train tracks would connect through the spine of the Hunt property, provided multiple connections to the rail station, convention center, Cedars, etc. Their land values w...

These are old renderings that show the dart d2 rail. This is just Vaporware.
The project is scaled down now and is basically a shopping strip mall and tower on the side.
Typical underwhelming Dallas project

Anytime there's a lot of trees in renderings for a high rise I know two thing...
1- The development itself isn't architecturally interesting on its own merit
2- The development doesn't integrate well with the urban fabric
...now TBF, there isn't much to integrate with here.... But I digress

Yes, but you cant tell me amount of air/road/rail traffic between DFW and Austin/San Antonio isn't enough. You add Waco Temple in and that's a lot of people. I don't know what the ultimate plan would be, but the likelihood of this happening is remote, and even if it does it will be a very long time...

The nice thing about the AAC is the connection to DART/Tex Rail.
