Re: Site UI, UX and formatting
Love the new UI! Reminds me of the old layout. It's like when someone scratches an itch you didn't know you had... blissful!

Re: Museum Tower
Too bad they just didn't have the resolve to fix the reflection problem. They would have sold out years ago. It'd be interesting to know what the actual repair would have cost them and compare that to money spent/lost by dragging out the sale of units (not sure how to accurately calculate that eith...

Re: Downtown Dallas: Hillwood Urban's ~50 storey tower on former BoA motorcourt
You must be referring to the one I mistook as original plans for the building. All images posted were found doing Google pic searching for 345 California Center. The building is familiar to me since I live just two blocks away and the two flag towers and the horizontal bridges at the top between th...

Re: Pegasus Place Tower
And development in this area will be greatly appreciated. It can be a rough area sometimes. Parked right between the county medical center and a whole host of strip clubs can make encounters in the area "interesting". I may be 'tooma' since I don't have statistics to back up what I'm sayin...

utgf, one of those building images looks like it's straight out of Sim City 4's image tiles. That's so cool! Where did you find that?

Not true.
What you can't do is eat your cake and have it too.
This whole discussion is a damp squid!

Re: Most Exciting Project?
At this point, "generic infill" is what we need most. Without the generic infill, if we get a "supertall", it will be surrounded by a sea of parking lots. The infill is what energizes an area. Without it, you just have destinations.

Re: Museum Tower
That's why I said "almost fill" instead of "filled". The point on the businesses buying many of they units is well taken. Not sure why I let that slip my mind considering I commented on the businesses buying units in this building a couple years ago. Here's hoping my brain works ...

Re: Museum Tower
14 remaining units isn't too bad. Sure, its taken longer than you'd hope it would have (plus the horrible pension fund mess), but it's nice that Dallas is able to almost fill that kind of tower. FOUTA, what's your opinion?

Re: Museum Tower
Not that it matters much, but I was able to find public sales information for just two of the units. One of them was a double unit purchase that they got at $517.40 /sqft. This double unit was in the first 5 floors. The other one was between the 5th and 10th floor and was just a single unit. This on...

Re: Design District: Dallas Mavs Practice Facility
Can't the Stars and concerts /events stay at American and the Mavs and concerts/ events go to the new facility and then a deck park on that that section to connect the 2 when lowest stemmons is redeveloped?! It would be a sports and entertainment Mecca, would connect victory with design and the las...
