Re: Downtown Dallas: 711 N Pearl (~37 ST)

Love to see the infill development.

Curiously all of the renderings are missing the hideous skywalk that crosses Pearl right in front of this site. I'd love to see the Celebration of Life plaza get a facelift in line with the new downtown parks.

Re: Medical/Market Center: Stemmons Towers

I would hope they add a garage or two to the rear of the property. Is there any other local example of high/mid-rise residential with people surface parking as far from the building as they would be with the current lot?

Bank of America Plaza seems like it could be a decent candidate for residential conversion. It's unique shape means there's more window area than would be expected for the floor plate size. Example of what 1,100 and 1,700 square feet would look like: https://baplaza.com/floorplans/BOA_41st%20Floor....

Re: Dallas Area Rapid Transit

Is there any history out there regarding the design approach DART took on some of the train stations? I personally think the partial barrel roof style that you see at a lot of stations (Lovers, LBJ, Arapaho, White Rock, Zoo, Tyler/Vernon, etc.) looks a bit cartoonish and dated. Is it meant to imitat...

Re: Demolished (and about to be) Properties 2.0

Found this online tonight:

It seems that FPC purchased the properties behind their Stewpot service and is having it cleared with the intent to market it to a private developer. That's my understanding, but I could be wrong.
