I've always been amazed at how few restaurant/bar choices there are in a hotel with this many rooms. The Adolphus, Anatole, and Statler all have more restaurants/bars, yet fewer rooms.

I still hate the design and I mean hate but the two positives are its an affordable brand in an area I would like to see this kind of development and at least we got street trees and a nice wide pedestrian-friendly sidewalk. I still wish they had come up with a design that engaged the street better...

The central library is one of the few places one can go to in their situation, outside of a shelter, and not get run off by police or property owners. A higher barrier fence will probably look better, but having actual work going on behind it would be even better than that.

I guess this project is as complicated (if not more so) as The Statler was, with multiple parts to the building and multiple eventual contractors/financial sources.
