Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
FYI, actually CityVet is going in where Jos. A Bank used to be... That's probably a good location for them! There is a Brazilian Steakhouse scheduled to go into the old Champps space called Brasao. They have 1 location in San Antonio, but apparently opening a 2nd location at the Shops at Legacy. I ...

I would imagine some sort of urgent care or something similar - the moment they added the carport along the north side of the building it dawned on me it was something medical.

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Signage has already been removed from the Best Buy and the store is closed. Of course, Fry's Electronics is also officially out of business as well but I guess that should probably be in the Cypress Waters thread since it's closer to that. I would LOVE for 24 Hour Fitness to buy that space where Fr...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
The Levy Event Plaza Park on Lake Carolyn is wrapping up. Honestly, what a missed opportunity here. It offers very little, and IMO cheaply done and poorly designed. Could have been so much more! I'm surprised they're even bothering to open it anytime soon given the road construction that seems to b...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Thanks for the status update! I thought those 3 were already under build-outs so that's kind of disappointing here they're just now pulling permits. Anyone have an update on Pacific Table? I ate at the Ginger Man last Saturday and it didn't really look like much was going on inside. I'm also disappo...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Darn. Well I'm hoping another yoga studio takes the space because I've gotten used to my weekly stretch class!!
Although I'm thinking there might be more than meets the eye with We Yogis given that they've recently shuttered two other locations in DFW so they might just have overextended themselves.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but just learned that the WeYogis yoga studio in Water Street is closing effective next Friday (7/26). I learned that right after my class last night... pretty annoyed and, honestly, surprised as all the classes I've ever attended there have ranged from pretty ...

Looks like Hops & Vines is back open? I saw they took down their sign above the storefront but they put up a much small sign alongside Las Colinas Blvd. that says "Now Open!"
So... I guess it's back open?

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Thanks Kelley! Honestly none of that surprises me... the owner does seem to legitimately like his customers and wants to succeed but he seems to shoot himself in the foot frequently. I guess the only silver lining is that Las Colinas now has a Whole Foods and Nosh & Bottle where I can go to buy ...

On the subject of Hops and Vines... I'd really like to know what's going on between the owner and the city. I've heard lots of hubbub in the craft beer community about how the owner has been trying to get up and running for ages BUT... I wonder how much of that is coming from the owner. I used to lo...

Speaking of things taking forever to open up at TMF, anyone have any insight on Burgerim? This has been "coming soon" since TMF announced and I can't for the life of me figure out what's taking so long for the build out. I get why Kitchen 101 and the Violet Room are taking long given their...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
I work right in the Urban Towers and I'd say about 15-20% of our floor walks over to the Music Factory for the lunch on a daily basis (maybe 25-30 people). Literally the only complaints I hear are, "it's too damn hot to walk to the Music Factory" (which obviously is because it's summer) an...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Seems like it’s taking forever to repave the street in front of Jinbeh. I feel like the part of Las Colinas Blvd in front of music factory took shorter. Could be my imagination. The south side took just as long for the segment west of O'Connor. The south side of Las Colinas Blvd. up and down has th...

Y'all know you can park for free behind Jinbeh and walk to the Music Factory, right? There's about 100 parking spots ripe for the picking there.

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
If you just want to eat at the Music Factory and not pay for parking, just park in the lot behind Jinbeh and walk. There are 100 parking spots behind there. I assume they'll be opening up a ton more parking once all the other buildings get built in the complex as well since I doubt anyone will ever ...
