When a distribution center is announced, the population center will begin to get flooded with HEBs. North Texas will probably require two or more distribution center to really cover the area.

I thought the orange line moved slower to account for the stations which have been deferred. When the stations are eventually opened, the train schedule stays the same.

^traditionally, everything westish of Woodall Rodgers had been considered Oak Lawn. Cedar Springs, Turtle Creek, Uptown, Victory Park, Harwood are areas of Oak Lawn, though the definition hasn't held up over time.

The boundaries are certainly getting blurred as perceptions have changed, but the scene in Dallas has never had the contiguous geographic coverage it should have.

For once, I'd to see a big development not have a name. Name the buildings, name the park, but an 11 acre development doesn't have to fall under one umbrella name.

Any company with a big workforce in both Dallas and Houston, or considering a big workforce in Dallas and Houston will be drawn to Newpark/Smart District. A 90 minute train ride is a huge incentive, and (so far) does not have depend on public funding.

Unless something happens and the cities' economies stop growing, the increase of trips taken between Dallas and Houston will keep every train and plane full. When people come to like the train ride, Texas Central will find a way to increase trips OR another HSR route will be added.

That's new to me. So great to see these midsized apartments starting to pepper East Dallas. I've never really thought of this immediate area as Deep Ellum or Expo Park.... Will be totally interesting to see what happens when I-30 is sunk and a park goes over to reconnect the area.
