I highly dislike what they did with the Chase building as well. Those blue lights are way too dim. The old gold ones were so much better and brought life and energy to that part of Downtown. Also, can the pyramid atop of the Trammel Crow tower finally be changed to LED too!? That would look bad ass!

I want it built for the sake of them filling up those hideous parking lots, but the design is not world class or striking. It's actually a bit ugly to be honest. We need something GORGEOUS there.

You know what would be badass on this piece of land? A freakin' CASINO! Can you imagine? Winstar Dallas, MGM Grand Dallas, Horseshoe Dallas! Dallas would benefit so much from casinos. Plus, I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Oklahoma anymore. Just a thought.

Yay!!!! This project is now full steam ahead. Just read on DallasNews.com that a new investor has come to take over and it shall be done by next year. Can't wait to see the new LED lights they'll install on the facade's white pinstripes finally on.

At this point either one will do although I did love the idea of the cylindrical one more, but they are both beautiful so "Thug life!" Build the tower! Yay!

Those lights you lovely folks are talking about are simply temporary. They were put up before the holidays to add a little flare to the building's facade while construction moved forward(according to The Drever's Facebook page).
