We went to Willow Bend once a couple of years ago. Had to practically run through it because of the perfume stench all throughout - candle stores, bed/bath stores, etc. We both left there with massive headaches and never went back.

Not sure if this belongs in this thread but couldn't find a Campion Trail thread so... They are building a pedestrian bridge over the Trinity River to expand Campion Trail. The bridge is inside Trinity View Park just inside Irving, inside the levy underneath Irving Blvd. Not sure when this will all ...

Yes! I am excited that they are finally going to demolish that ugly ass shopping strip. That place was one of the worst eye sores along my DART commutes. But why are they keeping the parking lot? The bus shelter is moving a block west to Manor House effective 3/17. Screen Shot 2018-03-09 at 5.04.46 PM.jpg Somewhat unrelated, but I wonder if AT&T has plans for that office space/storefront used by DDI Safety Patrol. With the bus shelter out of the way, it would be a much more usable space...

Repairs to Campion Trail along the Elm Fork have been completed, and that section of the trail (Sam Houston Trail Park) reopened last week. It is amazing how much damage was done by the flood waters from a year ago. Nearly every river overlook along the entire Campion trail is still closed. Some of...
