Apparently DORBA did a lot of things on that property and illegally trespassing on adjacent properties that have angered area homeowners. Looks like the City of Dallas is taking them to court over it. This will take a lot of work to fix trees cut down, bad design of trails and dangerous bridges.

The Army Corps of Engineers will be using the areas inside the levees as a borrow source for soils needed along the levees. The green space you see now will basically be transformed into gravel pits. More important than anything else flying under the radar is that the East Overlook has now moved a considerable distance from the Dawson Jail site at 106 Commerce up the levees to the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge area. That's a big move and shift that has not been discussed yet in Trinity LGC meetings....

A ton of bad traffic has been dumped off onto side streets starting around Pine Street down to Hatcher and then into Rochester Park/Bonton. It was really bad a couple weeks ago as the traffic apps had not yet updated.
