Went to see a movie at Alamo on Sunday and I used to live at the Sears lofts back in 2000. We were pioneers when we moved over there but I always thought the whole area had great potential. A lot has been done but it still needs to have that one big thing happen to make it all pop and come together....

We walk through the entire downtown and urban area and the Arts District old cobblestone sidewalks and lighting and landscape is a real mess. Parts of the sidewalks in front of the Meyerson are unwalkable. Is there any timeline on revamping all of this with the plan??? Falling apart quickly!

Did they nix all of the residential component to this project. I remember there would be condos then they changed to leased units. I don't see anything about them in this building. That area needs a lot more people living down there just like Victory does to make it all come together.

They probably didn't want their pool to be right next to the firetruck sirens coming and going and the new fence and landscape should at least be better than the way it is today. Would love it flipped but I'll take any improvements at this point. Just get it going already.
