Stevie B is reporting Deloitte is moving out in 2025 and relocating to 23Springs in Uptown. That's a huge loss for Downtown/Arts District.

Put a fork in DTD. Once the big law firms start bailing, even the Arts District will be dead.

I don't understand La Duni - that place was rocking and fit nicely into NP's target market. I get COVID, but you would think they could have worked something out. How long is it going to sit vacant?

IMO Kona Grill doesn't fit the profile...maybe 10 years go, but not in 2023.

I love mass transit as much as any nerd but let's face it, DART is abysmal and its LRT stations are magnets for homeless and unsocial behavior. I'm shocked that Todd didn't build a wall at the Akard station and completely shutoff access to The National.

Looks like a lot of info that was previously on multiple CRE sites has been trimmed down/removed altogether. CBRE's site for this project is now blank. Not making me feel good... I presume they were taking a shot with Goldman and didn’t win. Can’t imagine doing something this big with the impending...

Great news! I'll have to revisit this area to check out the Food Hall. The few times I've been to the Discovery District, it's been packed like everyone is saying. I'd love to see Hard Rock Cafe open up somewhere not too far from this area to give people another touristy thing to do in the vicinity...

I actually asked them whether it was a permanent space and the clerk told me yes. Maybe she didn't even know. I don't get these "pop-ups." Like the Savannah Bee Company at NP. That place was built out super nice for only 3 months.

I'm very close to this....there are only a few NIMBY's (like just one or two people that are making themselves look like fools saying this tower is going to destroy the Farmers Market District).

The developer is also doing setbacks that are not even required by the development code.

A little birdie told me the hotel portion is in the works with a hotel flag that is not currently in the Dallas market. Funny, I was in New Orleans recently and walked past the Hyatt Centric there. That was the original flag that was associated with this project. Maybe Andaz would be a better brand...

Does anyone know whether the developer can fake us out and just put up a parking deck with no apartments/condos? They had to get approval from the landmark commission b/c it’s in a historic district. It looks like they are ready to open up the parking garage.
