I recall seeing some signs while driving through Elm Thicket recently (was going to a couple spots on Lovers Ln). It is definitely jarring seeing vintage bungalows next to giant new-builds, a thing which irks me anytime I see it.

Yeah, it would be awesome if they trimmed Ave K from Renner to 15th and added bike lanes going each way. Though, to me CityLine isn't really that pedestrian friendly outside the tiny park area by the Aloft, so I'm not sure how much back-and-forth connectivity that would result in.

Does 6th Street have these problems? I haven't been down to 6th in quite a while, so I know it's not THE only place to hang in Austin, but I feel like it is similar.

Just seems weird to me the Deep Ellum has had these kind of problems in two different iterations decades apart.

La Reunion is a solid little bar/coffee shop in the new Exxir development in Bishop Arts. I went there the other day.

I'll be curious to see what the ridership looks like for the UTD station. UTD is a heavy user of DART buses, but that's more for the immediate area. I wonder if there will be similar demand for larger trips.

Are you expecting the pricing to be high or low? I feel like "given the location" can be interpreted different ways in this area. Close to an emerging/exciting neighborhood, but also close to homeless facilities.

I remember seeing the Hall of State during the Drive-Thru State Fair this past year. It was surreal how great it looks. Hopefully once things open back up, there will be more of a push to utilize the interior for exhibitions, events, etc. I have never actually been inside of it.
