It's more spacious and 'luxurious' than I expected from a micro hotel but this is Dallas so I don't know what I was thinking. :lol:

That data suggests that DFW again had the largest growth in number of people with 119,748 new folks. The previous year it was 117,380.

Phoenix grew by 106,008.

Houston grew by 91,078.

Chicago apparently shrunk by 47,644, so our gap with them is continuing to shrink.

We should definitely have more mini hotels like this. They appeal to travelers who just need a cheap place to crash after being out most of the day, but we basically only have the Deep Ellum Hostel down the street. I agree. I think East Quarter, Design District, and Cedars will be the areas to watch grow this decade (in that order). Meanwhile Deep Ellum and maybe Trinity Groves will be adding decent height.

Thanks for the pictures kingpin. I appreciate that this building creates a visual bookend for that back section of the discovery district. Adds a degree of pedestrian coziness and mitigates the canyon effect that a lot of downtown has due to the street layout.
