Re: Trinity River Park

I was just there Saturday! Walking the trail really reaffirmed my desire to rewild the river. Past the statues and past the pond, the trail should be lush with natural plant life. Instead it just feels like a neglected soccer field. I was thinking the park could really benefit from a viewing outlook...

d2c.jpg d2b.jpg d2a.jpg It's a (conceptual?) rendering, I know, but these spots look very, very bland. Re: DALLAS to HOUSTON High Speed Rail

The exit of the skybridge to the convention center station would be the same walking distance as from the exit of the north end of DFW's Terminal A to the airport DART station. It's not ideal of course, but I think because most people will view this thing as an airport of sorts, the psychological hu...

This bridge between nothingness has been coming along over the summer.

It looks really silly in person, like it's a model-train sized bridge. It's trying to capture the grandeur of larger bridges, but its small size makes it look like a toy.

So does Houston have a plan to provide a connection the their light rail system or will you just come out of the station and have to take uber or a car to get into the urban core of the city? On that note, do we have a plan here in Dallas to provide a connection to DART? The old conceptual renderin...

I like the sketch. I can see the potential there, and it embodies a philosophy any future development near the Trinity should have: wide open pedestrian access to the levee.
