I'd like to see Bluemercury move to another shopping area and Juice Bar could probably go too.
Would like to see Jenni Kayne, Lafayette 148, and Zadig&Voltaire come to the Dallas market. Thom Browne would be a great fit for HP Village as well.

I'd rather an empty lot with the potential of future development than them investing in a store that will be around for decades. This area between the two Lemmons is a lost cause and it's so unfortunate because it makes West Village seem so disconnected from the rest of Uptown.

Etro is now open. Some updates on closed stores: Ugg has also closed their Houston store which leaves them without a presence in Texas and they have left Florida as well, so it seems as if the NorthPark closure was part of a larger downsizing strategy. Express is closing close to 100 stores and all of their UpWest locations due to bankruptcy. This location, while being profitable (I assume), is located between the newer NorthPark store and the new location being built at Stonebriar probably seems duplicative.

Stuff being built is too expensive for the market. They would sell much faster if they weren't so high end. You build some average/slightly above average priced condos and they will go fast. The luxury apt/condo market is further North in the Knox/HP area.

Express at the Galleria is one of the 95 locations listed to close with the company's recent bankruptcy filing. The Cedar Hill store appears to be the only other DFW location closing.

Laderach chocolate is opening between Swatch and Breitling. They have another DFW location at Stonebriar.

Get rid of it! Long overdue. Why? Take this down plus the Greyhound terminal closing and you have even more dead space in an area of downtown that nobody seems interested in. Yet that is exactly what I expect the city to do. Removing this and the Greyhound station will make this area more appealing...

It looks like Express is moving downstairs into some of the Forever 21 space. Not sure if Forever 21 will take the other side with a smaller store or not.
