According to the CPC meeting, it was suppose to be 28 stories but was lowered to 23 stories because of the budget. No mention of the height…so, I’m just gonna assume that 689 ft is definitely a mistake as well.

Found the site plan…I’m a layman and not an expert whatsoever, but it does say that the building height is 689 ft. Maybe that is the height plus elevation? Or perhaps it has a spire??

The phase two portion was always apart of the plan. Just taking them forever to build it. 9th street will also be tuned into a woonerf, since the city abandoned it and gave it to the developer a few years ago. I'm glad to see the retail building between 9th and Adams is independent of the apartment...

This one is officially out of the ground, including 2811 Maple. I seen them working on the first level for both buildings while passing through. I believe it’s still the formwork. I think they still have to pour the first level. I did see the X brace columns, I think it is gonna look really nice IMO...

We already have two streetcar lines. Connecting them is the only way we'll truly make them useful as a complete system. I think it can be successful if done right. Destinations on it are already popular like Bishop Arts, KWP, West Village, etc. KC's streetcar is a model that Dallas should follow.
