Apparently the DMN continues to offer periodic marketing pieces for proposed developments. I thought that might have stopped with Steve Brown's retirement.

Per DMN this morning: Four Seasons Turtle Creek to move ahead ‘full bore’ Ground could break on the project, which has been in the works since 2021, at the end of this year. That article was mostly a bunch of nothing, but you (as well as the DMN) buried the lead, which is that the project has shrun...

This one is just floundering away. Typical of Perot. It's really not fair to blame Perot for this floundering. Perot has a bad track record on large developments like this and his reputation continues here. When you wait too long, things fall apart. As interest rates go up, so does the likelihood t...

To address your last point, I suspect it's a combination of 2 factors at play. 1. Delusions of grandeur. Because they still have Nordstrom and a few luxury boutiques, they're under the impression that they can charge a premium on rent as other stores and shoppers alike are beating down the door to ...

There’s no way Cotopaxi was meant to be permanent, they kept the same storefront as Apricot Lane. Eye Candy wasn’t a big chain though, think their other location was in the mid-range wing of Houston’s Galleria. Well, it was more than a seasonal popup. Perhaps a test-run which apparently failed. Express is closing close to 100 stores and all of their UpWest locations due to bankruptcy.
