I tried to go up on the Weirs balcony to take a pic, but they were closed. The hole is deep, maybe 4-5 stories (?). It’s hard to judge with just excavators down there. There are three cranes erected now. The single one at Knox and two at Armstrong (south end).

I drove thru there last week and thought the same. It was finally open but still only 3 lanes heading west to Ft Worth. It seems like all that money and time went only into charging Dallas residents for a (tolled) quick exit from the stadiums.

I’m not sad to hear this news. There are plenty of valuable goods and services at this development location (Knox Promenade) that are needed in the neighborhood. Wishing they were getting more than two year extensions, but it will do for now.

I don’t think I’ve seen or heard of the third tower in that rendering. And another park space adjacent to Katy Trail—exciting! The park mentioned is kinda already there. An undeveloped lot which is fenced in for use by refurbished old building (5207 McKinney?) on the north side of it.
