Isn’t this the third iteration of glass on this building? Wasn’t it originally a bronze color? Or am I thinking of the older HQ up the road which is now an old folks home?

There is a reason the Andres brothers gave up and sold out. Now it’s somebody else’s battle to fight. It sounds like the war will be one by the developer eventually, we just don’t know when. I hope it’s soon. Knox/Henderson (the streets) have such potential to be something seen nowhere else in Dallas.

Re: Knox / Henderson - Knox Street Side

Shocker (to me at least), there were workers on the RH site on Knox today. I had given up on this. The weeds had grown taller than the columns.

They appear to be placing forms for the exterior wall foundations. There seem to be more materials on-site than I remember as well.

This appears to be merely a facelift on this old shopping centers’ facade. Better than what was there before I guess. Perhaps this will get a major overhaul in the next cycle.

The crane and elevator silos are for the Broadstone Knox project which is directly across the alley from this.

This angle of the photo makes me wonder how much longer the Belo Mansion will survive. The mansion itself might be historic, but all that stucco add-on was done in the 1980’s and wouldn’t be missed.

How about a Mix of new and just the mansion ala The Epic just down the way?
