I'm shocked that there is not yet a high enough median income to justify a decent grocery store in the area yet. Sprouts would be great in Oak Cliff! I'm a little surprised too that Sprouts hasn't made a move into North OC. Judging by some of their other locations, Sprouts doesn't seem to need the same kind of average incomes that CM does to open in a neighborhood.

I assume Central Market is waiting for the demographics to change enough before they actually build the Bishop Arts store. I expect to wait quite awhile. A Sprouts in the area would be most welcome. I'd prefer a Sprouts to Central Market actually, for everyday shopping anyway.

I'd like to see Jefferson stay what it is, a retail destination. But the two streets on either side of Jefferson, Centre St. and Sunset Ave., would be great for mid-rise residential. From Beckley west to Van Buren.

I would love it if that happened! Sprouts would be good at serving a wide swath of the community. I've found their prices to be pretty affordable for most, but they also have a fair amount of healthy food. Hope it graduates past the rumor stage.

I agree. The better Fiesta's seem to do a good job of serving a number of different communities. They're really unique in that respect.
