I didn’t realize KDC was apart of the North Shore development. If you look at their site there is a newer site plan that I do not remember seeing. Part of it is shaded red with ”build to suit office tenant” taking up one of the peninsulas.

I can see that spot from my office. I haven’t seen any real work being done at all. They did briefly haul away part of the dirt mountain.

I didn’t see this reported. They tore down the three townhomes that were started by the convention center DART station.
Additionally, they are adding one AT&T 5G small cell in front of Water Street and I believe a Verizon one across the street from the music factory.

Drove by today. Looks like continued progress on the mall. Also, the KDC development area of the Sears etc. is now fenced in. It looked like they were clearing out the old sears auto center building today. Cautiously optimistic.

I suspect the Texas exclusives like Prada, Goyard, Givenche, Loewe, Marni or whatever other brands I don't know (hahaha) will compete for stalwart space at NorthPark when there's a 5 Star Resort Hotel anchor. I found a presentation showing that DART received a few unsolicited bids for using DART land for TOD. I found the Cedars and Forest Lane to be the most interesting.
