Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Good news for Las Colinas APT system. It seems they’ve won a small grant to retrofit existing structures to support modern automated cars. With the big spike in population in recent years, this investment would truly be a value-add for urban center to attract more residents, tourists, and larger emp...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
It would be better than an unused piece of green space! Let’s see what comes out of it.
I also wonder why they left off a square piece of land behind TMF facing 114 by the garage? They would have been better off building something as part of TMF. Maybe a future office build?

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
The Keg restaurant next to The Ranch is boarded up and Red, Hot, and Blue has a lease sign in the window. The building that housed The Keg would be a great Trader Joe's location. Here's hoping! I’d prefer to see Trader Joe’s find a spot in the Urban Center. The Masterplan does call for a groc...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
I’m wondering if the current project plan stays as-is, 2 of 4 WF towers and the apartment complex on the peninsula with 1 of 2 WF garage across the street. Perhaps, they are planning the 3rd and 4th WF towers and the 2nd garage on the last peninsula in Northshore space? It is possible that there may...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Anyone know what is being built in the tiny green space behind the ‘Stand Up Paddle’ (SUP) hut and sorta under the new/unused APT station at the Water Street property? More retail (per original design renderings) or just more parking spaces?

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Are they building only the Sandman Signature hotel or also the Sutton hotel in Star Park together? Both are Canadian chain of hotels. The entire perimeter seems to be blocked off; so I remain hopeful.

Do we know which restaurant/bar may be coming next to the kissing bridge, overlooking the lake? It looked hip from the outside…I always think that the retail strip on Las Colinas Blvd near Alesio is so under-utilized, but has so much potential. Why can’t they quickly fill it with a donut shops, gela...

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
North shore development news is exciting. The approved construction mostly mimics the plans on KDCs website: https://kdc.com/our-work/north-shore-las-colinas-urban-center , except the following: 1. Wells Fargo to also have its own garage (article states they will use the new one across the st/next t...

It would be timely to see it come back alive! Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Per 2022 listing, Dallas has 11 Fortune 500 and 8 Fortune 1000 compared to Las Colinas with 8 (plus Caterpillar plus Builders Firstsource) and 3 Fortune 1000. We need 2 more relocations in LC in order to beat the count in Dallas.

Re: Las Colinas/North Irving Development
Looks like Builders Firstsource, another Fortune 500 is also relocating from Dallas downtown to Las Colinas. This means, at least until Exxon Mobile formally moves out, Las Colinas will be home to 10 Fortune 500 HQs. At this rate, looking forward for LC to soon beat the count in Dallas! https://www....

That’s pretty exciting! Your description of the Northshore Project mostly mimics what is the projected site plans shown on KDC’s website:
