Re: Uptown Dallas: Central Market at McKinney and Lemmon
That whole West Village area is in a funk. They could probable open a Central Market in the existing store in a few months and make it just like the Lovers location. At this point I will be ok with that as the option seems to be let that ugly building and land sit empty for years more. Yep. I would...

Lots of vertical construction along Hall Street, and the first crane base is on site. Still working under street level.

Re: JLL Turtle Creek Tower
Lol. Perhaps they were thinking this move would be more popular than it actually was. It's a massive community, and the majority of people aren't vocal or active at all on stuff like this. Perhaps the board was just getting feedback from people who agreed with them and thinking that this was repres...

Re: Turtle Creek: Four Seasons Hotel & Residences (3001 Turtle Creek)
Looks great. Height is about perfect for the lot, this will serve as a great centerpiece of the Turtle Creek skyline. Hopefully they can get financing worked out and get this built.
The main thing I would like to see is a rendering of what the condo entrance along Cedar Springs.

Re: Park Lane/NCX Development
I've always wondered if there was a way to make walking to both easier. Make Park lane pedestrian only, mini park with like food truck or something. Maybe a way to cross the NB service road easier? Agreed. This would be welcome but I don’t think it will happen. Nobody even mows the grass at the Nor...

Looks like they’re about to start vertical construction along Hall Street, with excavation still underway along Bowen.

Re: Oak Lawn
Another DMN story about yet another new proposed high-rise MF development in that sliver between Oak Lawn Ave and Turtle Creek (north of Maple, south of Cedar Springs). This area is talked about at a hot spot of development, but all I've seen (besides Toll Brothers) is all hat and no cattle. I supp...

Now plenty of room for the Richard in downtown Richardson If I am working on a project, and am at a public meeting where any multi-family in Richardson is being presented, I'm going to request they name it this. It's necessary. Does anybody even call it “Central Expressway” anymore? The developer g...

OLC & the city worry about "traffic", but then allows a QT to be built right up the street which will attract a ton of cars. Doesn't make any sense to me at all. Such backward thinking. It is absolutely mind blowing to me that a QT is being built brand new on that corner across the st...

Re: Uptown Dallas - Field Street Development [North End Apartments Site]
The timeline for completion (December 2027) isn't as far off as you might think. A project of this magnitude, assuming this is the 80 story tower, would take 2.5 - 3 years for full completion. Remember that most of the parking is underground which takes quite a bit of time to build out and up. Plus...

http://www.mymartinranch.com/images/2000_ross.jpg This is truly a unique building. An upscale JW Marriott hotel sitting on top of parking garage. I don't think I've ever seen a set up like this before. Almost all the new high rise hotels in Nashville sit atop a parking garage, including the new Fou...

Re: Uptown Dallas: Central Market at McKinney and Lemmon
Hi everyone! I recently moved to the Turtle Creek area from Nashville, TN, and followed(and still do) the incredible transformation taking place in Nashville very closely. I was very adept for a lay-person(I don't work in Real Estate or Development professionally, just as a hobby) with navigating Na...
