I was most surprised to see German Chocolate Cake on that list. That’s definitely something Dallas could take ownership of and be “known” for around the country — like Key West is “known” for Key Lime Pie (among other things).

The new ground-floor tenant lounge in FP also has a pretty fancy espresso machine using Starbucks coffee beans. While Ascension’s coffee is superior, the availability of free Starbucks has certainly impacted the number of times I go to Ascension.

Lowe's is headquartered in Mooresville, North Carolina -- about 30-45 minutes away from Uptown Charlotte.

It seems to make a lot of sense to have the employee innovation hub near the HQ. . . but if Dallas gets it, I won't complain!
