Why would they close a profitable store? The only reason I could imagine it wouldn’t be profitable is the rent rate. City council members publicly confirmed HEB is the store that is going into the Fry's area. The vote we talked about a few weeks ago is in fact for their in-store BBQ restaurant's liquor license. When you say "publicly confirmed," did they do so in a press release or a City Council meeting?

They really need to widen I-30 though. I know it's not ideal from the standpoint of improving walkability/urbanity, but if Rockwall County isn't getting transit any time soon, they will have to improve throughput ASAP with the explosive growth out that way.
