Per the article, they also have plans to bring the Mi Tienda and Smart Shop brands to DFW.

Mi Tienda currently has 2 stores in Houston, and from what I hear, their performance has exceeded expectations.

Somewhat off-topic, but out of curiosity, what's going up at the corner of Noel and Southern? Is it more apartments?

There wasn't much activity on the site for a while, then the other day I saw at least one worker back on site and it looked like a new crane was set up.

They're calling it a mixed used development, but it seems to mostly be a warehouse farm surrounded by a thin veil of retail and apartments.
