Re: Dallas Area Rapid Transit

Ah, true, I completely neglected to think about that aspect (former tenants), good point. Still is weird to me though, but I suppose it makes more sense than opening it to the public. Maybe in the far future, once ground level parking is less prevalent downtown, DART could make a little bit of extr...

This is a great idea. Not only will they add charm to the city, they will add value to the city by being a tourist/instagram spot. Think Abbey records beatles record. The rest of the city should consider something like this. Victory park should add MAVS/STARS themed crossings.

LED strips are super cheap, literally $20 on amazon. Why not do the whole thing including the Dallas Alley part? That 635 will handle reverted traffic previously on I-345 is a HUGE assumption. 635 is being expanded for existing traffic, and like a self fullfilling prophecy, it will eventually not be enough. Those portal areas, where rail transitions from below grade to above grade are always terrible. R&B is much cheaper than Fine China or the other dining options there. Great people watching spot, gets really eclectic late at night.

Does anyone know why the Statler is no longe lit up in blue? Is it because the blue lighting scheme can become annoying for people who live in the Statler?
