This is from the proposal Hoque gave to the city back in June 2024 to receive the 96 million dollars in subsidies from the city. They must start construction before the end of the year or they will forfeit the money.

He still received $96 million from the city of Dallas to build Newpark, so he might try to get something built. At this point he has no credibility with anyone.

I'm sure they got tired of walking past all of the homeless and vagrants around the building. This should be a wake up call for Downtown Inc. El Centro is also looking to move from that immediate area. Chick Fil A also moved a few blocks east.

This forum is filled with several tower going up on the east side of downtown. (Portman's 50 stories, Rohrman's 42 stories, East Side 47 stories) I'll believe it when the first tenants move in.

If city hall and the mayor made it a priority and offered incentives to developers, then maybe so. It may take a developer from another city to do it. I don't have much faith in the Dallas developers.
