2 recent closings in the West Village: Honest Taco (Old Taco Diner spot) and Hugos Invitados (Old Mi Cocina spot). Both were there only about a year? I saw where Coal Vines on Cedar Springs is permanently closed. (Not sure how long ago this happened) . Thats a shame. I havent been there in awhile, but the food/service was alway good. The never ending re-do/construction of that stretch of Maple probably didnt help things.

Yeah the Villa Rosa is still relatively new. I think the retail could work there though. The Ill Minster pub seems to be doing well. Put a Gloria's/ Mi Cocina in there and it will be packed

Has anyone noticed how big of an eyesore the front of the Oaklawn Public Library has become?
