There's actually an active zoning case just south of WestRock across Cedar Creek for WMU-5 (walkable mixed-use) zoning. Bout 5 acres. Z212-305 case number. Will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

Heads up, possible mixed-use development proposed just south of the intersection of Commerce & Beckley, between Beckley and the levee on property currently featuring industrial uses. Case number is Z190-226.

Not sure if anything has been announced previously, but a developer has applied for a zoning change at the northeast corner of Singleton and Gulden as soon as you cross Margaret Hunt Hill. Seeking a PD for an office project that includes the West Dallas veterans memorial.
