Taking the Farmers Market off the cities bankroll was the best decision they ever made whether you agree with their management direction or not. The city shouldn't be running a farmers market and that we can be happy that they don't.

Which I hope it's subdued from its past life. Back then no one lived downtown and the pinstripes were super bright to the point they outshined everything on the skyline. The miracle of LEDs is they can be piercing for long-distance visual effect but not too bright in imediate range.

Apparently the word is Office Depot is starting a store closing sale to empty out the store. I do not know if they closing the store solely to tear it down to start this project or just finally closing the store because they always intended to close it down.

So quick question and I wanted to see who knows but what about the old WFAA studios building? A few years ago they consolidated the broadcast studio to the Victory Park location but I don't believe the studio was a part of the DMN sale since Belo and the DMN were separate companies at that point.
