Re: AT&T Discovery District
I think it’s a nice sculpture in this context, but when you consider how they said this would be the Dallas version of The Bean, which is twice as tall, then it might seem a little underwhelming. The bean is about the same height as this. It’s just a lot longer. That's correct and I retract the &qu...

Re: AT&T Discovery District
I would rather have a nice fountain than the interactive sculpture they put in. The interactive sculpture is a little underwhelming with how small it is if I'm being honest. Does it look small in person or you’re going off these pics? 30 feet tall seems decent, but I haven’t seen it in person yet. ...

I mean where are my Whataburger and 100,000th Jimmy Johns location at? And Olive Garden, I love real Italian food but I will gladly go to OG anytime for the fun of it. I mean my life is missing out if I don't get to eat Italian in a pretend Italian villa surrounded by other Americans eating Fettucc...

Cava just opened right in that spot. Perfect fast casual concept for that immediate area. The casual dining options in the McKinney&Olive plaza are also really great. Roti, Myxt, Malibu Poke, Starbucks reserve. All high quality fast casual. Shake Shack and East Hampton are just up the street off...

Re: East Quarter: ~24 Building Redevelopment
On our last trip to London we stayed at a Z Hotel, which is a similar concept. These are perfect for people who need to stay one night to catch an early flight the next day or expect to spend very little time in their rooms. The amenities usually make up for the cramped space (free wine in our case...

Re: Cityplace East: ACS/Xerox redevelopment
You have to keep in mind we are talking acres of land here almost as big as the West Village when it started and selling off a small portion to build in-demand units is a worthwhile cause. This won't even be at the main corner of the property the developer is proposing all those high rises. This is...
